Then & Now: Livermore Stories is a local history lecture series co-presented by the Livermore Heritage Guild and the Livermore Public Library. Jeff Kaskey will present a Then & Now program entitled “Sit Straight, Eyes Front: Livermore’s Early Schools” on Wednesday, Jan. 21 at 7 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.
During the program, Jeff will discuss Livermore’s early schools and provide an update on the Livermore Heritage Guild’s efforts to move the last Livermore Valley one-room schoolhouse, Midway, from Altamont Hills to Hagemann Park.
