Livermore Public Library invites the community to a special performance by the Diana Gameros Trio on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 2 p.m. at the Civic Center Library, 1188 S. Livermore Ave., Livermore. This free concert is sponsored by the Friends of the Livermore Public Library as part of the Library’s celebration of Latine Heritage Month.
Diana Gameros is a Mexican-born singer, songwriter, guitarist, pianist, and composer whose music explores family, migration, and home. She is a lead teaching artist with the Lullaby Project and a core member of the Immigrant Orchestra. Born and raised in Juárez, México, she immigrated to the United States as a teenager, bringing with her a deep love for music and the stories of her homeland.
Over the past decade in the Bay Area, Gameros has released three albums featuring original songs in Spanish and English alongside her interpretations of Mexican classics. She has been recognized multiple times by National Public Radio’s Tiny Desk Contest, was the subject of KQED’s 2020 documentary Dear Homeland, and has performed with acclaimed artists including Joan Baez, Natalia Lafourcade, and the San Francisco Symphony. In 2023, she received the Gerbode Foundation Music Award Grant to record her latest album, Volver a la Luz.
On September 27, she will perform with Patrick Wolff (clarinet/saxophone) and Thomas Edler (upright and electric bass).
The concert is free and open to the public. Parking and seating are limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early.
