March 6 – 29 – The Town of Danville presents a Sixth Line Studios production of the Alfred Hitchcock classic, The 39 Steps, Abridged, featuring professional Equity Actors from New York City and San Francisco!
A Hitchcock thriller turned laugh-out-loud theatrical romp, The 39 Steps, Abridged, adapted by Patrick Barlow, hurtles across Britain in a whirlwind of spies, secrets, and mistaken identities. With jaw-dropping physical comedy, lightning-fast costume changes, and over 100 characters brought to life by just four astonishing actors, this theatrical thrill ride is as suspenseful as it is side-splitting. The 39 Steps, Abridged is bold, brilliant, and will keep audiences entertained from start to finish.
Performances are every weekend in March, with opening night on Friday, March 6. Opening night ticket holders are invited to a pre-show reception from 6-7pm featuring live jazz music and refreshments.
