Lisa and Ron Rigge will present an Armchair Travelers program on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 1:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Storytime Room, 1188 S. Livermore Ave. Their presentation is entitled “A Voyage to Alaska, British Columbia and Haida Gwaii: A National Geographic/Lindblad Expedition.” Registration is not required to attend this free program for adults.
On a 14-day sail on the Sea Lion, their tour explored coastal inlets on the British Columbia coast, the Inside Passage, and with special permission obtained by National Geographic, the island of Haida Gwaii and Haida homes and workshops. They also made explorations into Misty Fjords National Monument and Glacier Bay National Park in Alaska.
