The Centennial Light Bulb, the world’s longest-burning light bulb, will celebrate its 125th anniversary on June 6 at 10:00 a.m. at Livermore Fire Station No. 6 in California. Installed in 1901, this hand-blown, carbon-filament bulb has burned almost continuously, surviving 20 U.S. presidents and multiple moves, now glowing at a dim 4 watts.
