SUMMARY:Meet the Historical Spirits of Pleasanton at Museum on Main’s Annual Ghost Walk
DESCRIPTION:Join the Museum on Main for a family-friendly Ghost Walk and learn more about the history behind the ghost stories in Pleasanton. The Ghost Walk is a two-hour guided tour of Pleasanton’s most haunted sites along Main Street in the downtown area.

This family-friendly tour, held for over seventeen years, is a popular event during the Halloween season. This year the museum is offering their usual four nights of in-person tours. “The Ghost Walk at Museum on Main is an annual Halloween staple in the Pleasanton community. Every year, we bring the town\'s haunted history to its residents through family-friendly performances by our ghost-actors. It\'s also an important fundraiser for the museum\'s educational programs. We encourage everyone in the Tri-Valley and beyond to lean into the Halloween spirit by joining MoM for a spooky walking tour during Ghost Walk!\" says Rachel Brickell, the museum\'s Membership and Visitor Services Manager.

Tours begin at the museum and leave every thirty minutes from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Groups are led by a team of ghost hosts to visit up to nine haunted locations around downtown. At each haunted location, groups are met by actors playing the roles of the various ghosts around town, bringing their stories and Pleasanton history to life.

Ghost Walk tours take place rain or shine - so dress appropriately. Costumes are highly encouraged! For in-person tours, most of the tour stops are outside. In a few locations, groups may be able to go inside the haunted buildings. There may be two stops that require the use of stairs to access the ghosts. Ghost Walk tickets sell out every year, so the museum encourages those who want to participate in-person to purchase their tickets early.
